Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy uses most of the same modalities and procedures as in physical therapy except conducted by a licensed chiropractor. Physiotherapy can use the following: stretching and strengthening exercises with bands, weights or machines, aerobic exercises such as elliptical, bikes and treadmills, variety of weight machines and dumbbells, hot and cold packs, whirlpool and fluidotherapy, electric stimulation, infrared, soft tissue manipulation, ultrasound, paraffin bath, phonophoreisis and much more. Our goal is to restore you back to your maximum functional movement and ability following your injury. Functional movement is central to you achieving a healthy state. Physiotherapy is concerned with identifying and maximizing quality of life and movement potential within the spheres of promotion, prevention, treatment/intervention, habilitation and rehabilitation.    A wide range of physical ailments can be treated with physiotherapy.  From headaches to painful backs to serious spinal cord injuries. We carefully diagnose acute and chronic conditions to find the root cause of pain, weakness and numbness,  prescribe an individual and custom treatment plan depending on your physical condition and injury. We teach patients proper body mechanics and techniques to improve and restore range of motion, reduce or eliminate muscle tension and restore or improve proper body function.
